NTI provides a one (1) year warranty against malfunction of Minstruments.
During the warranty period of one year any malfunctioning Minstruments product (not damaged by user) will be repaired or exchanged (at our discretion) against a new product free of charge by NTI Americas Inc. Please return the unit freight prepaid either to NTI Americas Inc. Be sure to include your sales receipt showing date of purchase and a description of the problem.
Shipping charges are the responsibility of the instrument owner. Insure your shipment for the full retail value of the instrument.
This warranty does not cover damages caused through accidents, misuse, lack of care, the attachment or installation of any components that were not provided with the product, loss of parts, connecting the instrument to a power supply, input signal voltage or connector type other than specified, or wrongly polarized batteries. In particular, no responsibility is granted for special, incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty becomes void if servicing or repairs of the product are performed by any party other than an authorized NTI service center or if the instrument has been opened in a manner other than specified in the manual.
No other warranty, written or verbal, is authorized by NTI. Except as otherwise stated in this warranty, NTI makes no representation or warranty of any kind, expressed or implied in law or in fact, including, without limitation, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose and assumes no liability, either in tort, strict liability, contract or warranty for products.
Ship your Minstruments prepaid to the authorized NTI representative in your country. For contact details, see below. Be sure to include a copy of your sales invoice as proof of the original purchase date. As usual, we recommend that you immobilize the entire unit in bubble wrap, then pack it in a generously oversized box with no room for movement of the Minstrument. Be sure to insure the package for the value of the unit.

Minstruments service and calibration is available through our Oregon NTI facility.
For Minstruments, we will if requested make an estimate for repair. If repair time/labor exceeds a reasonable price compared to the price of the instrument, a replacement instrument may be offered by NTI here at an accommodation price. (i.e. Repairs above $250 for an ML1 are eligible for an exchange for a factory-refurbished unit. Other limits apply for other product models).
Return shipping is additional.
Note that for display problems or case damage that replacement display and case kits are available for user repairs as an alternative to returning your instrument.

The following instruments are serviced: A1*, A2, RT-1M*, RT-2M, RT-2X (asterisk denotes limited parts availability).
Adjustments, calibration, service and damage repair may all be completed at our Oregon service center, although some instrument rebuilds and a few repairs may require return to our manufacturing facility in Liechtenstein.
We will provide a free repair estimate for any NTI/Neutrik test instrument returned to us freight prepaid. However, you are responsible for return UPS air shipping costs and insurance of the instrument.
